1776 Companies is a group of American shops. We build, fix, and sell trucks. We used to be called Denning Companies.
Ward Denning started the shop in 2017 in Chancellor, South Dakota. He had fixed diesel trucks for 16 years at a big shop. He saw that the Sioux Falls area needed a better, local place to go. So he opened one bay and got to work.
From that one bay, the shop grew. We added a trucking side (now Road Hunter), bought Silver Creek Carriers in 2019, and then opened up body work and custom builds. Today all the shops fly the same flag: 1776 Companies. Same crew. Same standard. New name on the door.
We're local, we love our veterans, and we're proud of the town that built us. We help folks from Chancellor and Sioux Falls, and anywhere a working truck needs to go.
We weld, paint, and finish every job right here. No tricks.
Same crew that started it. The owner is in the shop, not just on a sign.
We send every job out the way we'd want it for our own truck.
We back American workers and use American parts when we can.
We show up ready. Good energy. Every shift, every bay.
We listen, we learn, we get better. Ego stays at the door.
We don't quit on a problem until the job is right.
We do the work we expect from everyone else. No shortcuts.
A look inside the shops, the people, the tools, and the trucks rolling through every week.
